Avian Control
Gibraltar has an extremely large population of Yellow-legged Gulls Larus michahellis that grew steadily throughout the 20th Century. The colony is so large that is causes safety issues to the Gibraltar International Airport, nuisance to the public and a range of ecological problems.
Wildlife (Gibraltar) Limited is contracted to manage the population of gulls by HM Government of Gibraltar. This work includes house calls, to remove nests where these are posing problems on buildings.
